In the Kim Kardashian sex tape, it's Ray J who puts on a stiff performance. But he does so on purpose.
The same can't exactly be said of Kardashian's cameo last night on 2 Broke Girls Season 4 Episode 1, an installment that found a reality TV show producer scouting Max and Caroline's cupcake window as a possible shooting location for Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The storefront wasn't used in the end, but that didn't stop Kim from stopping by and leaving the main characters in awe.
The scene is incredibly awkward and the polar opposite of funny, but give Kim a tiny bit of credit for mocking herself. At one point, she mentions that she'll Tweet about the encounter "for real," pretty much admitting what most already know:
She doesn't actually run her own Twitter account.
As Max, Kat Dennings closes the scene by asking Kim whether her mom would adopt her, prompting the most meta line in the history of television:
"This is super awkward."
Kim Kardashian actually does possess some acting experience.
She has guest-starred on How I Met Your Mother and also on Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva. She even played a semi-prominent role in the Tyler Perry movie Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.
And, of course, Kim anchors Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which is even more scripted than all of those programs put together.
