Kim Kardashian might be best known for wearing nothing at all , but today she's at the center of a clothes-related controversy.
You see, Kim and Kanye are devoted to turning their daughter into some sort of toddler fashion icon.
North West has a personal tailor and it's been rumored that she regularly rocks $50,000 diamond earrings .
So it was only a matter of time before she was spotted sporting some kind of high-end fur. And as you might have guessed, animal rights activists are less than pleased about it:

No one knows for sure if North's fur jacket is real fur, but come on...like Kim Kardashian would dress her daughter in synthetic.
Many animal lovers are particularly pissed because of the wasteful nature of buying a fur for a 2-year-old.
While most groups like PETA are opposed to fur coats in all circumstances, at least if a grown woman buys a full-length mink, she'll be able to wear it for life.
There are already hundreds of tweets deriding Kim as "cruel," "vile," and "ridiculous."
Our biggest problem is that when shopping for winter coats for her daughter, Kim passed up an obvious opportunity for a pun/joke. As she never heard of the North Face? Come on!
