Last year, the fashion world was shocked by the decision to feature Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the cover of Vogue.
The main complaint was that the rapper and the reality star were chosen for the magazine's highly-anticipated spring fashion issue simply as a result of their friendship with editor Anna Wintour.
Now, it seems we won't be seeing Kimye gracing of Vogue any time in the near future, as the couple's increasingly diva-like behavior has put a strain on their relationship with Wintour.
The final straw may have come when North West threw a tantrum at Kanye's recent fashion show, which reportedly led Wintour to request that young children be banned from all New York Fashion Week events.
As we learned today, however, Wintour's annoyance with the Wests dates way back to the photo shoot for that now-infamous Vogue cover.
Radar Online is reporting that Wintour assured her staff they would never be forced to work with Kanye again, after the rapper proved to be an insufferable ego-maniac while he and Kim were posing for famed photographer Annie Liebovitz.
"The entire piece ran way over budget," says one insider. "Kanye proved impossible to please, and Kim would often apologize for his antics.
"Anna had thought they would be over the moon to be offered the opportunity to be on the cover of Vogue and therefore wouldn't be difficult. That did not turn out to be the case."
Yes, Kim was willing to apologize for her husband even though he's the type of guy that tells the world she banged a bunch of broke dudes before they met. Sounds like you've got yourself a keeper, Yeezy!
