Ever since Rob Kardashian compared his sister Kim to "the b-tch from Gone Girl" on Instagram, his life seems to have taken a sharp turn for the worse.
Rob is alienated from his family, his feud with Kim seems to be getting more severe by the day, and sources say the he's in the grips of an extreme depression.
According to the latest issue of Star magazine, however, none of this is anything new.
In fact, the tabloid claims that Rob reached his low point several weeks ago, and he's singled out Kim as the target of his wrath because she's made the greatest effort to pull him out of his depression.
"Kim straight up said if Rob doesn't make an effort to save his own life than she doesn't care if he lives of dies either," says one insider.
That may sound harsh, but Rob has reportedly keeps finding new ways to hit rock bottom, and Kim feels a little tough love is necessary to snap him out of it.
At just 5'10", Rob is reportedly tipping the scales at over 350 pounds. Worse, Star claims that he won't go outside for several weeks at a time, and spends his days eating junk food, drinking heavily, and popping pills.
He's also taken up the bizarre habit of befriending porn stars on Twitter. Rob's latest online BFF is Lela Star, an adult film actress who - the magazine points out - looks an awful lot like Kim.
"This is a family that prides themselves on looking perfect," says one source. "But Rob is a mess."
The family is reportedly "embarrassed," by Rob's actions, particularly his unwillingness to participate in Keeping Up With the Kardashians (insiders say he refuses to stick to the show's scripts) and the fact that he has yet to delete the Instagram post that so offended Kim.
Insiders say Kris Jenner has threatened legal action against Rob if he doesn't toe the line. Sounds like this whole thing might get worse before it gets better.
