Now that advance copies of Kim Kardashian's new book of selfies have been released, scholars and literary critics are dissecting its every passage in search of subtext and hidden meanings that might elucidate Kim's views on modern society.
Just kidding. It's just a bunch of photos of Kim's cleavage that costs 40 bucks for some reason, but that doesn't mean it doesn't contain a secret or two that even Kim didn't know about.
According to Radar Online, one full-page photo shows Kim in a fur coat with a caption reading, “I just got this Fendi coat and was in New York. I was in a taxi and took this selfie to actually send to Kanye to see if he liked my new coat. He did!”
Yeah, that's about the level of excitement you can expect from Selfish. But while that may sound like the most vapidly boring page that's ever been featured in an actual book, eagle-eyed Kim-ologists have picked up on an interesting detail.
Kim was first photographed wearing the coat in 2010 - while she was still married to Kris Humphries.
In the book, the photo is dated 2011, so Kim is either lying about when she purchased the coat, or she was texting Kanye while she was still with Kris.
Perhaps, like the rest of the world, Kim just forgot that she was ever married to Kris. It's an easy mistake to make.
