Last year, when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West covered Vogue, the decision made waves that went well beyond the world of fashion magazines.
Celebrities threatened to cancel their subscriptions and reputable journalists authored lengthy think-pieces about what the decision to put a reality star on the cover of such an internationally-respected publication says about our culture.
Perhaps that's why, just over 12 months since the controversial issue hit newsstands, editor Anna Wintour and company have published an issue celebrating the 2015 MET Gala that seems to make up a point of pretending Kimye wasn't even there.
Obviously, Rihanna dominates the cover, but it's the names running alongside the photo that reportedly have Kim "livid."
"Kim lives for Vogue and has been obsessed with it forever," an insider tells Radar Online.
“The fact that they didn’t even mention her on the cover is hilarious, considering she tried so hard to be exactly what she thought Anna Wintour would want for the Met Gala.”
To make matters worse, up-and-coming model (and Kim's little sister) Kendall Jenner did get name-dropped on the cover!
“Kim’s sister Kendall getting a mention on the cover over her is a huge slap in the face! She’s livid," says the source.
Some believe Kim has been pissing off Wintour by dragging North West to fashion shows like some sort of human accessory.
Others say Wintour imposed a strict "no selfies" rule at this year's Gala and, of course, Kim wasn't able to comply.
Whatever the reason the snub seems pretty deliberate, and we're guessing we won't be seeing another Kimye cover for quite some time.
