After months of "having sex 500 times a day" Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have yet to conceive a little brother or sister for 23-month-old North.
Kim's fertility problems have been a big part of the tenth season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but it looks as though even Mrs. West has tired of discussing her menstrual cycles over brunch and listening to Kanye scream his own name at climax.
Us Weekly is now reporting that Kim and Kanye have officially begun the search for a surrogate.
One insider says that ongoing IVF treatments are "causing problems with Kim's body" and that a second pregnancy may carry too many health risks to be feasible.
Fans of the show know that Kim opened up about problems with her uterus this season, and even underwent a procedure to try and correct the issue.
Sadly, doctors have reportedly told her that it's unlikely she'll be able to get pregnant a second time.
So now the big question is: Who will receive the honor of carrying Kimye's offspring?
In the past, Kim has joked about asking Kourtney to be her surrogate, but would she really be so bold as to ask, when Kourt already has three young kids of her own to look after?
This is Kim Kardashian we're talking about, so the answer is yes. Yes she would.
What we'd really like to see, though, is KUWTK storyline in which Khloe carries Kim's kid. Just imagine all the humorous quips about the struggles of being pregnant and all the disapproving glares from Kim every time Khloe eats sushi!
It would be pure reality TV gold, so the Kards are probably considering it at this very moment.
