It's been two months since we first learned that Kim Kardashian is pregnant with her second child and the speculation about what name the Wests will choose for Nori's little brother has been non-stop.
After all, when you name your first kid North West, you set the ridiculousness bar pretty high.
Kim and Kanye have been characteristically secretive about their new offspring's moniker, but Kim has gone on the record as saying the new baby will not be given another directional name.
It sounded like the couple had its mind made up, and the nation breathed a collective sigh of relief.
Unfortunately, that Kanye is a fickle fellow, and he can be awfully persuasive. Either that, or this report from the Daily Mail is just total BS:
"Easton is the chosen name," a "family friend" tells the London tabloid. "It's confirmed that the baby boy will be called Easton."
The source adds that the name is locked in, as monogrammed clothing and personalized items for the baby's nursery have already been ordered.
Apparently, Kourtney spilled the beans during a small get together last week:
"Kourtney told a few girls at a Hidden Hills pool party last weekend that Kayne's favorite name by far is 'Easton,'" says the source. "Kim wasn't hot on at first because Kanye liked simply 'East'"
If the story is true (which we highly doubt), then the name is actually highly appropriate.
After all, Easton will probably begin studying maps at a young age in order to figure out how to get as far away as possible from the parents who saddled him with such a horrendous name.
