Last month, in the most unexpected cease-fire since Jay-Z shook hands with Nas, Rob and Kim Kardashian made peace.
It's always hard to tell what's real and what's scripted in Kardashian Land, but the Kim-Rob Truce of 2015 seemed to be legit.
Kim and Rob started tweeting each other about taking hikes, and Rob began Instagramming photos of his youngest niece and most outspoken brother-in-law.
Now, however, it looks as though Rob's love for his famous sister might be as forced and phony as Kim's love for Kris Humphries.
And as you might have guessed, there's a different Kris behind the bogus reconciliation:
“Kris [Jenner] read them both the riot act and pointed out that this is the worst possible time for the family to be feuding,” a source close to the family tells Radar Online.
“Since Caitlyn‘s transformation she’s been quick to point out to everyone in the clan that they need a show of unity, or risk being seen as too fractured and dysfunctional for many of their sponsors and investors,”
Yes, the world's most famous momager reportedly explained to Rob and Kim that with all the media focus on Caitlyn's transition and the relationship between Kylie and Tyga, there's enough drama going on without tossing a sibling spat into the mix.
Sources say the final straw was Kim's Rolling Stone interview, in which she claimed that Rob drinks and smokes weed all day.
Kris was reportedly outraged and told Kim that that's the sort of attack that should only come from outside of the family.
Weeks later, Rob and Kim were forced to publicly make up. So it may be as fake as everything else in their lives, but hey, at least they're done taking shots at each other - for now.
