Earlier today, we reported that Kim Kardashian caught Kanye West texting an ex-girlfriend and was understandably not happy about it.
Now, sources are saying the situation is even worse than originally thought, and that Kim has taken off for the island of St. Bart's in order to put some distance between herself and her volatile hubby.
"Every time Kanye tried to defend himself, Kim grew angrier and more vitriolic, until finally he just stormed out, leaving Kim in tears,” a source close to the Kardashians tells In Touch magazine.
“Kim felt like she’d be dumped, and that she and Kanye had split for good.”
Yes, In Touch isn't the world's most reliable source, but the tabloid has broken big stories in the past. (It was the first to report on the Josh Duggar molestation scandal, for example.)
The magazine's source says Kanye insists that his ex was just asking about the project he's currently working on, but Kim was reportedly "hurt that he kept [the texts] a secret from her.”
In Touch claims that in addition to her husband's alleged flirtations, Kim is upset about Kanye's VMAs speech.
The rapper admitted to being stoned during his rambling tirade, and Kim - who doesn't drink or do drugs even when she's not pregnant - was reportedly not pleased.
We'd say it sounds like these two are headed for a rough patch, but we don't think it's possible for them to breakup. No one else could handle their gargantuan egos.
