Caitlyn Jenner has become the first family member to issue a public comment in regard to the horrible situation that befell Kim Kardashian in Paris on Monday.
As has been reported in scary detail, Kardashian was robbed of over $11 million early Monday morning, as armed assailants broke into her apartment.
They tied her up. They gagged her. And they forced her to beg for her life before fleeing the scene with her ring and other pieces of jewelry.
The situation is so serious that neither Kim nor anyone in her family has spoken out about it on Instagram.
We're not being trite. That says a lot.
This is a family that uses nearly any personal situation to gain followers or improve reality show ratings.
But Kim feared for her life. She thought she was going to be raped. She was in an unimaginable situation.
On Tuesday, however, Caitlyn became the first loved one to address the life-altering crime.
"Love my girl!" Jenner wrote on Instagram (below) alongside a black and white photo of Kim.
"After hearing the full story, I'm so thankful she's okay. It's a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world."

How very true.
Kardashian gave a statement to French officials on Monday and then boarded a private flight home as soon as she could.
She landed in New York City and was then photographed with Kanye West, Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian as they headed to the Big Apple apartment Kim is currently renting.
A barrage of security guards are watching it around the clock.
Where was Kim's security guard when the robbery took place?
Because she was in for the night and assumed she was safe, Kardashian sent him off to watch over Kourtney and Kendall Jenner, who were out and about in Paris at the time.
Some are wondering whether the robbery was an inside job because the thieves had to somehow know Kim would be alone when they broke into her apartment.
Either that, or they simply were unaware that she traveled with a bodyguard.
The reality is "emotionally damaged right now" in the wake of her horrible attack and still very much shaken up, according to E! News.
Perhaps she'll drop a quick note of gratitude on social media at some point in the near future, but don't expect to hear a lot from her going forward.
"This is something that has the potential to screw anyone up for a very long time," a source says. "It was incredibly frightening, and it's going to take a while to get over it."
In the future, Kardashian will cut down on her public appearances and on her Instagram/Twitter posts.
There are some (watch video below) who actually blame Kardashian for the incident, saying she should have known not to flaunt her wealth and location in such a manner over these mediums.
This is ridiculous, of course.
Kim was bound, gagged and truly believed she would be killed. She did not deserve that simply because she shared a few photos online of her expensive ring.
But still. It cannot hurt to be extra safe, to do whatever she can in order to avoid being the target of criminals going forward.
Kardashian has two little kids at home and the important thing is that she's around to tuck them into bed every night.
