... The French president, that is.
Yes, after Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris on Sunday night, losing over ten million dollars worth of jewelry, it sounds like her world got turned upside down.
And people aren't getting tired of hearing about it anytime soon.
As it turns out, some people are even going out of their way to help her through this rough time.
Celebrities like Lena Dunham and Chrissy Teigen have stood up for Kim, telling the world that it should be considerate of Kim right now, and her husband, Kanye West, has rescheduled tour dates to be there for Kim.
He's even reportedly lashed out at Kris Jenner, the woman was said to be in charge of Kim's security situation in Paris.
But now, François Hollande, actual president of France, is lending a hand to aid in the capture of Kim's criminals, according to a new report from Page Six.
No, really.
Sources close to Kim are claiming that Hollande "is personally involved in the investigation," and that he's promised that he will provide "additional security on [Kardashian's] behalf next time she is in France."
So that's insane, right? Is President Obama supposed to offer to beat up Taylor Swift's next ex-boyfriend now? Is that the way the world is headed?
It does make a little bit of sense though, kind of: according to the report, Hollande wants to catch Kim's burglars, and fast, so that celebrities keep coming to France, and because it would be embarrassing if five men were able to commit such a high-profile crime and get away with it.
But there's more going on with Kim than just this presidential shoulder to lean on.
This report goes on to claim that Kim got a brand new security team, and that the team is "recommending she employ a body double to help confuse would-be assailants."
Just think about all the hilarious hijinks that would ensue with that one!
Unfortunately though, the source adds that North and Saint are getting security teams as well because "the kids being kidnapped is Kim's biggest fear. She previously didn't want to shell out for armed security, but now she realizes the family needs 24-hour protection."
Another source popped in to say that Kim "doesn't know who she can trust."
It seems like she really does think the robbery might have been an inside job, doesn't it?
"Kim's team is conducting an internal investigation," the source claims, "interviewing assistants and looking through phones for evidence that anyone may have communicated with the thieves. They are slowly ruling people out."
Hopefully no one who works for Kim is cruel enough -- or dumb enough -- to try to plan some big caper like this.
And if they are ... well, they better hope good ol' President Hollande finds them before Kanye does.
