Prepare to mark down April 19 as a national holiday, THGers: the Kim Kardashian divorce case may finally be settled tomorrow!
With both parties due in court - following Kris Humphries' no-show last week - sources tell TMZ that legal peace may finally be reached between annoying reality star and douchey basketball player.
How come? Because Kris' stance that the marriage must be annulled is softening.
He is finally realizing...
- Based on the prenuptial agreement, he won't receive a penny if the divorce trial goes to court.
- There has been no evidence presented at any deposition that backs Humphries' claim of being defrauded. Some documents, in fact, appear to have hurt him.
- The judge who will preside over a potential trial next month is the same judge royally pissed at Kris for skipping out on last week's hearing.
- If the case goes to trial, Kim will seek Kris to pay her legal fees. Which are not cheap.
In other words: Kris Humphries is finally coming to grips with what everyone else has known all along: he has absolutely no case.
"Kris is opening his eyes a little bit, and what he sees doesn't look good," an insider tells TMZ.
