Chicago West was ready for primetime this week.
Not that the infant was really given a choice.
On the latest installment of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim and Kanye's surrogate was very close to giving birth (man, these episodes were filmed a loooong time ago), as the series gave fans an inside look at Kardashian's baby-naming process.
How did she arrive at North and then Saint and, as we all know by now, Chicago?
While at lunch with Kourtney, Kim said that she might want to look at “zodiac signs” as inspirations for her thid child.
Kourtney wasn't in love with the idea, however, strangely commenting: “No, that’s like, the devil.”
In the end, of course, Kim and her rapping husband went with the city in which the latter was born over anything allegedly related to Satan.
“They’re gonna go crazy and then they’ll get used to it, and then they’ll go, ‘oh that’s normal,'" Kim remarked, acknowledging the likely reaction to this unusual name.
The name clearly is way out there, but the child herself is quite adorable:

Khloe was also close to giving birth during this episode, and she made a major/awkward announcement at one point.
She decided between Kim and Kourtney as the godparent of her impending daughter.
“I always thought Kourtne would be the godparent of my child,” she said in a confessional.
However, Khloe admitted that she had grown closer to Kim of late, prompting Kourtney to almost campaign for the gig by dissing her sibling as a mother.
"You know who’s always sick? North and Saint," she said to Khloe, sort of randomly and definitely with an ulterior motive.
Could Kris Jenner be of any assistance?
When Khloe asked her mom for advice, Kris compared the parenting style of Kim and Kourtney, both of whom have three children.
"Kourtney has a certain set of values and she goes to church,” she said, adding of Kim:
“She’s very hands on with the home work … the grooming’s impeccable.”
Okay, so: Kourtney will try to instill positive, Christian values in your child and Kim will make sure she looks stylist.
Who do you choose, Khloe?
Kim, of course!
"From what I envision my parenting style to be, I envision it more like Kim, a little bit stricter,” Khloe said, causing further friction between herself and Kourtney.
“Once Khloe has her own daughter and she is really a mom she will realize we have more in common than she thinks as far as parenting styles," Kourtney later told the camera.
There was also a very dumb flash mob non-prank this week, along with a tease about next Sunday's episode.
As the installment concluded, we were given got a rare peek into Kylie Jenner's pregnancy, with the family discovered she was going into labor.
In a testimonial shot, the beauty expert explained of her pregnancy.
“I’m not trying to keep a secret. I’m really doing this for myself."
Well, the secret is now out.
And we'll learn a lot more about it next Sunday, apparently.
