Kim Kardashian has been forced to literally run for her life.
Or drive, we suppose, if we wish to be more accurate.
On Thursday night, the former sex tape star and her family were evacuated from their Calabasas home due to the threat of a dangerously spreading 2,000-acre Woolsey Canyon wildfire in Ventura County.
It has threatened nearly all residents in the area.
On social media, Kardashian explained to followers that she had just arrived back to her Hidden Hills property when she learned just how precarious the situation was turning out to be.
"Pray for Calabasas," Kardashian wrote over an aerial view of the fire that she filmed from the window of a plane and shared to her Instagram story.
She added:
"Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up and evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe."
We don't know whether or not Kanye West was with Kim and their kids at the time of this evacuation.
Later in the evening, in order to keep everyone apprised of her surroundings and all that was transpiring, Kim posted a video of multiple fire trucks driving down her street.
She made certain to share her appreciation for their heroic efforts.
"Fire fighters are arriving. Thank you for all that you do for us!!!" the famous mother of three wrote alongside the video.
The widespread fire impacted miles and miles around where Kim loves, including the neighborhood of sister Kourtney Kardashian, who also made the right call is deciding to evacuate.
“I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires. No Calabasas tonight,” Kourtney wrote along with a photo of her car trunk packed with various bags and belongings.
We can't imagine how scary this sort of thing must be when one has little kids to be concerned about, as is the case for both Kourtney and Kim.
The Woolsey fire in Calabasas was one of two different brush fires that erupted on Thursday, along with the so-called Hill Fire in Santa Rosa Valley that shut down the 101 freeway and has spread to over 10,000 acres.
The latter fire lead to the mandatory evacuation of nearly 1,200 homes in multiple neighborhoods, including Camarillo Springs and Dos Vientos, as well as the Cal State University Channel Islands campus and the Point Mugu Naval Base.
Tweeted the official Twitter account of the City of Calabasas last night:
The #Woolsey Fire has grown to over 2,000 acres with 0% containment. @LACoFD has ordered a mandatory evacuation in all areas north of the 101 freeway from Valley Circle to Lindero Cyn.
A voluntary evacuation remains in effect for Calabasas areas south of the 101.
