Kim Kardashian is going on the offensive in response to a tabloid cover story that claims her body has become offensive.
The latest issue of In Touch Weekly screams that Kardashian's "Butt Won't Stop Growing," a rather hilarious heading to which Kim felt a need to reply via Twitter.
"Get a life!" Kim wrote.
"Using pics of me 15lbs skinnier (before I had my baby) comparing to me now! I still have weight to lose. Anyone who has had a baby knows how hard it is to lose weight(especially the last bit of weight) & your body totally changes!"
Kardashian went on to say she's "not perfect" and added:
"I will never conform to your skinny standards sorry! Not me. And BTW I've lost a lot so far & I'm proud of that! Don't give young girls a complex."
Kim's statement about giving girls a complex and there being different standards of skinny in the world would be admirable if...
... Kim didn't spend a large majority of it explaining that she's trying to lose weight.
... Kim hadn't spent year shilling for QuikTrim, a non-FDA approved weight loss supplement.
... Kim didn't mention her personal trainer and her Atkins Diet and her bikini body in every third interview.
Do you really want to be a role model for young girls, Kim?
Act like Kristen Bell, who has said she is gonna "sit out the baby weight rat race" and she'll keep working out and she'll see where it goes - but, hey, she may never get her old body back.
