Welcome, THGers, to Kidchella.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West celebrated the first birthday of their daughter yesterday in the most Kim Kardashian and Kanye West-way possible:
Aia a wildly expensive shindig based on the California music festival Coachella. The event featured many guests and a variety of carnival-esque activities for children of all ages.
The invitation, for example, depicted the desert-mountain backdrop of the Empire Polo Field in Indio where Coachella is thrown each year, while guests were encouraged to wear "festival inspired fashion."
This led Khloe Kardashian to don a Native American headdress... and receive a lot of flak online as a result.
The party was held in the Calabasas mansion purchased last year by Kourtney Kardashian, who flew in for the festivities.
Guests included Ciara (and her newborn son); LaLa Anthony and her son; Blac Chyna with Tyga and their boy; and Rachel Roy.
There was also a Ferris wheel and teepees to hang out in because... why not, right?!?
"Kim was holding North a lot of the time, and the party seemed to be geared towards a little bit older kids," an onlooker told Us Weekly. "But it was a family party with all ages, and no matter what age they were, they were having a great time. There was so much to do.
