Yes, Brody Jenner attended Reggie Bush's wedding this weekend.
No, Brody Jenner did not attend Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West in May.
And with the Internet wondering just what rift exists between the step-siblings that would explain this discrepancy, Jenner offered up an easy explanation last night at the ESPY Kickoff Party in West Hollywood:
There is no rift!
"I love Reggie. It was a great wedding. It was beautiful,” Jenner said of the running back exchanging vows with Lilit Avagyan.
Brody added that the affair was "awesome" and:
"It's kinda ridiculous that everybody's making such a big deal out of it Reggie's been a friend of mine for a very long time so I went to his wedding. It's all good."
Okay. Fine. Fair enough.
But then why did Jenner skip the Kimye wedding on May 24?
"Kim's was in Paris. I was working. Kim's was in Paris - it's as simple as that," he said.
Not according to some celebrity gossip reports, however. They claim Jenner's girlfriend, Kaitlynn Carter, was not invited to this event and only then did he schedule a DJ gig in Chicago.
Where does the truth lie? We may never know.
However, an insider tells Us Weekly that "Kim couldn't care less about Brody going to Reggie's wedding. Brody has been friends with Reggie since Kim introduced them many years ago."
