After months of absolutely zero anticipation, Kim Kardashian's selfie book has finally been released, and the reality queen has hit the road for signings and meet-and-greets, during which she bravely pretends that she's actually set foot inside a bookstore before.
For the first ten minutes or so, the press tour was going as well as could be expected, but after events that took place during an appearance at Barnes & Noble yesterday, we're guessing Kim will go back to doing all her non-existent book shopping online.
"I just want to say you're the most disgusting human being on the planet," says the meek young man in the clip above. "Shame on you for supporting the fur industry."
After that, more anti-fur activists leapt out of the woodwork like some sort of pissed-off flash mob. As you might expect, they were promptly removed by security, but that wasn't the end of Kim's woes.
"Can you make it out to all the animals that have been tortured and killed for you to wear a fur coat?" asked one man who had been quietly waiting in line.
Kim's handlers 86'd the guy and we don't blame them. That's, like, way too long of a dedication. Do you want her hands to cramp up?!
The harassment continued, with scores of activists screaming, "Murderer!" at Kim as she left the building.
Kim has been slammed by PETA in the past for her fur-loving ways, but she shows no sign of changing her fashion habits. She was most recently criticized for dressing North West in fur that was probably fake.
Frankly, we don't get it, Kim. Why cling to wearing fur when during your only career moments that anyone cared about, you were wearing nothing at all?
