Kim Kardashian is making news today for a bunch of photos she took with her clothes on.

But a day after another Kim Kardashian nude photo went viral, the reality star has made headlines for channeling one of her icons in a photo shoot for The Violet Files.

Working with makeup artist Pat McGrat, Kardashian is transformed into Taylor’s version of Cleopatra for the publication, explaining to The Violet Files that she considers the veteran actress to be a true role model.
"I love Elizabeth," Kardashian says. "Pat and I have had conversations about how iconic she is, and how iconic Cleopatra is.
"I would have done anything - I would have trusted Pat’s vision no matter what she wanted - but I was really excited that it was the Cleopatra vibe."
This latest round of Kim Kardashian photos feature the expecting mother of one wearing very heavy gold eye shadow with thick black liner and nude lips.
“For Kim I wanted to create a version that has never been done before, a futuristic 3D version,” said McGrath.
“I wanted to portray a luxurious decadence by using elements of ornate facial jewelry constructed into shapes that pay homage to Egyptian culture, and of course to the rich exotic character that Taylor played in this role."
Back in 2013, meanwhile, Kim also posed like Taylor and referred to the long-time star as her "icon."
