Kim Kardashian is opening up like never before about her second pregnancy.
In the latest issue of C (a magazine we can now confirm does actually exist), the reality star goes into detail about the difficulty she and Kanye West had conceiving.
"I had so many complications," she explains. "I had this condition called placenta accreta. There were a couple little operations to fix all that, so that created a little hole in my uterus, which I think made it really tough to get pregnant again."
Those who watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online can vouch for this trouble, as Kim talked candidly about her struggles on camera.
She once complained to sister Khloe that she and Kanye were doing the nasty 500 times a day... to no avail.
And she admits to C that having to be on a strict schedule took “the fun out of” intercourse.
“I’m like, ‘I’m ovulating, get home now!’ He’d be like, ‘Wait, I’m in the studio,’" Kim says.
Eventually, of course, the schedule and the treatments and the persistence all paid off: Kardashian announced her second pregnancy via a trailer for new episodes of her reality show.
She and her rapping husband are expecting a son in late 2015.
But it sounds like this may be it for the couple, once again due to Kim's medical condition.
"They think I’ll have placenta accreta again, so if the placenta grows a little bit deeper than it did last time, then they are prepared to have my uterus removed, which is a little scary for me,” Kardashian admits.
“I think we’re just gonna go day by day, see how overwhelming it is, and see how the delivery goes."
We make a lot of fun of Kim Kardashian... and she deserves to be made fun of a lot.
But difficult conceiving is a legitimate issue that faces millions of women and we send her our best in this regard.
